Listed below are the different classes and workshops that I offer. Air Plant Terrarium Class
Cost: $50 per ticket
Class Length: 1-2 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 3 Weeks Notice
What’s Included: One large 8”x10” glass container with your choice of substrate and mediums and 3-5 assorted air plants in various sizes.
Open Tropical Plant Terrarium Class
Cost: $50 per ticket
Class Length: 1-2 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 1 Month Notice
What’s Included: One large 8”x10” open glass container with your choice of substrate and mediums and 3-5 assorted terrarium plants.
Kids Air Plant Terrarium Workshop
Cost: $28 per ticket
Class Length: 45 min - 1.5 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 3 Week Notice
Ages: 4-10
What’s Included: One medium sized plastic globe terrarium or glass container, your choice of substrate and mediums, and one air plant and care instructions.
Desert Cactus & Succulent Terrarium Class
Cost: $50 per ticket
Class Length: 1-2 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 1 Month Notice
What’s Included: One large 8”x10” open glass container with your choice of substrate and mediums and 3-5 assorted cacti and succulents.
Closed Tropical Plant Terrarium Class
Cost: $50 per ticket
Class Length: 1-2 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 1 Month Notice
What’s Included: One large 12” closed jar and lid with your choice of substrate and mediums and 3-5 assorted terrarium plants.
House Plant 101 Lecture & Workshop
Cost: $50 per ticket
Class Length: 2-3 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 1 Month Notice
What’s Included: First a 40 minute lecture on basic house plant care. Feel free to take notes! Then we will be choosing a plant we learned about in our lesson to repot into a new 6” terracotta pot.
Kids Fairy Garden Workshop
Cost: $20 per ticket
Class Length: 45 min - 1.5 hours
Booking Notice: Minimum 3 Week Notice
Ages: 4-10
What’s Included: One medium sized plastic globe terrarium or glass container, your choice of substrate and mediums, no live plants.
FAQs
When can I book a class or workshop?
Private events held at the shop can be booked when the mill is not open to the public. Weekdays Mon-Thursday 10am-9pm, or Friday - Sunday 6:30-9pm.
How many participants can a class hold in the shop?
Parties in the shop can hold a maximum of 10 guests, as our store space is limited!
How much notice do you need to book a class?
I require a minimum three week booking notice for private events at the shop. Parties that wish to be held outside of the shop need a minimum four week booking notice with an estimated total number of guests.
What is the minimum age for workshops and classes?
Children ages 4-10 are best suited for our kids classes and workshops as we will be handling many small toys and breakable objects! Children ages 10 and up are welcome to attend any of our other classes.
How do I book a class?
Please fill out the form down below with as much information as possible. I will be in touch to schedule a date for the workshop. Two weeks prior to the event I will ask for a final guest count and I will ask to collect payment in full for the total number of tickets. Tickets will not be reserved until payment is received. Payment must be received no less than 10 days before the selected class date, or both parties can choose to cancel the class. If you need to cancel a ticket after the 10 days, you will be reimbursed the ticket price for store credit.
What types of payment do you accept?
Venmo / Paypal are the prefered methods of payment. But if you wish to pay by credit card a 3% charge will be added to the total cost, only to cover the credit card fees.
